Experimental-commercial
mill, which processes the olives from nearby olive
plantations has been established in Katel Stari as
experimental and commercial service for processing
olives to obtain olive oil from farmers in the vicinity
by hydraulic moulding process. That way generated
revenue is used for the maintenance and improvement
of facility in Kastel Stari. Olive oil obtained from
the experimental plantation of the Institute continues
to serve for scientific research and kept and donated
as representative samples.
